WHEN/HOW DO I BOOK IN?
As soon as you can, I book out most my weekends months in advance so the quicker you book, the more flexible I can be for you!
Newborns - book in no later than your 20 week scan to secure a slot. I only take on a certain amount of newborns per month. If you are over 20 weeks, please still message as I may be able to fit you in! :)
I mostly work in the studio, which means for most sessions we are indoors, however for location sessions, unfortunately we live in Manchester so we can never guarantee the weather! Don't worry, it is totally out of our hands, so we can either do a studio session instead or re-book on the next convenient day for us both. Or, I am always happy to pop wellies on and bring an umbrella.
For starters, I am closely following the government guidelines constantly. I am armed with gloves, masks, cleaning products, air conditioning and safety measures in the studio to ensure 2m is kept at all times.
I am cleaning/disinfecting the studio top to toe before/after each client. Anybody who shows signs of illness, is not permitted into the studio. I am only allowing 1 household per session.
Safety equipment will be provided, along with advice and signs to ensure we are safe in our environment together.
I am a Nikon girl! I always keep up to date with the latest gear to ensure the best quality. I know the saying 'it's not about what equipment you have it's what you do with it' and this saying speaks volumes. At the start of my journey, I could have had the best equipment in the world and not used it to its greatest ability. Now, I have experience and knowledge you can't buy, plus the best quality equipment, so it's a win win!
I don't make you order prints directly with me, however, I can guarantee you the best quality if you do. The price is so worth it! I collaborate my screen and printing to ensure the colours and quality are spot on. Unfortunately, you won't get the same quality with cheaper online sources or the supermarket. Invest in what you love.
