How it works?

Once your little one arrives and you're booked in with a deposit paid, we will then get you all in the studio within 2 weeks (this is the best time to photograph newborns but it can stretch to 4 weeks if they are still sleepy). 

The set ups You choose - SEE BELOW EXAMPLES

- Beanbag/Wrap poses, where baby is either wrapped, naked and posed on a stretched blanket. We use a specially made newborn posing table. Depending on your package, we can add flowers/different colours & use a variety of colours/textures.

- Perfect Posie (the feather/butterfly/styled shots ones taken from above with wool around them). One of the most versatile & popular set ups, its possibilities are endless and offer the ultimate comfort for baby without messing with them too much. We then digitally superimpose them into any of your chosen digital backdrops.

- Basket/bed set up of your choice, you can choose any colours or themes too. We can get really creative with this choice of set up, with different styles i.e boho/floral or plain themes. We can make the style more rustic with a brown wooden backdrop, just let me know if you like this instead of cream!

FAMILY PHOTOS

You can add on family photos for £50 to the Mini Session or Deluxe Session. It can be used as 1 of your set ups in your Ultimate Session or you can add it as an extra set up.

Family portraits 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 & Sibling portraits 👫

If your little one cannot hold your newborn yet, we use the basket/bed style so your little one can sit next to their new baby sister/brother and it causes less stress to both of them! Around the ages of 1.5 - 4, we tend to get a short window with sibling/family photos, so we will always do these first to ensure your older baby is happiest! There is then an outer room they can play in/colour ect.

How to prepare for the day

Newborns tend not to be in a routine yet, but it's best to try and get them at a time they'll be sleepy. You can do little things like playing/interacting with them before you come so they have more of a chance of being sleepy at their photoshoot. Milk is also a big help, either giving them a big feed before you come or when you arrive helps with the sleepy process. The room will be HOT with white noise in the background, so make sure you come in something light and fill up on caffeine! This helps babies to relax and feel more comfortable.

WHat you need

1. Baby essentials; Nappies, Dummy, Towels/Blankets for accidents & anything else you might need.
2. Milk is a huge factor to helping babies sleep, so make sure you bring some extra or if you're breastfeeding all we need is you!
3. Snacks for yourselves and drinks, the sessions can take a couple of hours so you might be here for a while.
4. Change of clothing or any outfits you want yourselves photographed in or baby. Remember the room is hot.
